Bunny... Aditya Music... Rs. 38
Good music is an asset to any film and Bunny, is no exception. A foot-tapping number Maaro maaro rendered by Tippu followed by a romantic duet Jaabilammavo jaaji kommavo by Sagar and Malathi set the tempo for the melodious music. The title song on side B is a fun-filled description of the character.
May may may ILU by Devisriprasad is another pop kind of number with nice beats. S.P. Balasubrahmanyam's rendition of Suddala Ashok Teja's Kanapadaleda is a song that satisfies your thirst for good music.

Nazar... T-Series... Rs. 130
The problem of plenty is catching up with the Bhatt Camp. Don't expect a Jism or Rog or even a Paap here. The album is a composition of ordinary numbers composed by Anu Malik with hardly any shelf life.
It opens with Nazar Nazar where K.K. could not redeem the average lyrics by Sayeed Quadri. Pyar Asth by Sunidhi Chauhan has some good beats but nothing extraordinary. The highlight of the album is Ali Ali rendered by Shubha Mudgal and composed by Roop Kumar Rathod.
It manages to strike the spirit. The rest is all pedestrian stuff or run of the mill instrumental versions.
Roop Ki Dhoop... EMI... Rs. 150
A compilation of semi-classical hits, this one is for the purists. Seekho Na rendered by Shubha Mudgal and written by Prasoon Joshi is reason enough to own the album. The album, however, opens with Roop Ki Dhoop by Richa Sharma. Again written by Prasoon Joshi to promote Pond's Femina Miss India, given Prasoon's range, it's no patch on Seekho Na.
Here it seems the advertising guru has taken over the lyricist. There is also Mere Wajood by Adnan Sami from Page 3 and Aankhon Ke Sagar by Fuzon to interest the fusion enthusiasts.
Then there is a touch of nostalgia as well with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's Kinna Sona and Afreen Afreen also incorporated, making it a must buy for those who want some of the better numbers in one album.
Jo Bole So Nihaal... T-Series... Rs. 99
Sunny Paaji is back and with him the whiff of Punjab. Composed by Anand Raj Anand, Jo Bole So Nihaal tries to revive the magic of Punjab without much success.
The folk charm is missing here. Anand and Sukhwinder have tried imparting the feel of the soil. It is the lyricist who has essentially failed to rise to the occasion.
Raat Kuchh Aur Thi is meant to give a Western touch for variety. Here Sunidhi Chauhan is repeating herself.
Main Yaar Punjabi Jatt by Udit Narayan and Sunidhi Chauhan doesn't have the charm of Jo Nikla Gaddi Leke of Gadar.
CLASSICAL
Dhwani - A Percussion Ensemble... Rs. 200
This album featuring three talas or rhythmic cycles of Carnatic music, Adi, Mishra Chaapu and Khanda Chaapu, provides soothing fare for a spectrum of listeners. The predominance of drums is mellowed by the melodious addition of veena and vocals provided by Rajesh Vaidya and Vidya Srinivasan respectively. The first composition, interestingly titled Instinct, is set to Adi tala - an appropriate name for a rhythm cycle whose very name evokes time immemorial, and which, with its eight-count patterning, can be found in just about every music system. This is the major composition of the album, taking nearly an hour, with all members showing their prowess over kanjira (S. Srinivasan), ghatam (Bejjanki Krishna), tabla (Govinda Chakraborthy) and konnakol (rhythmic recitation, an impressive display by Karaikudi Shivakumar). This composition is set to the raga Tilang.
The second piece, The Confluence, is short, set to Dharmavati and Mishra Chaapu tala of seven counts, while the third, called The Joy, is set against the raga Surya and elaborates Khanda Chaapu of five counts. All the compositions are by Lalgudi Sriganesh, who has also played the mridangam.

Hotel... Moby... EMI... Rs. 135
Moby is definitely the flavour with music buffs this season, playing in coffee shops, on car stereos and in living rooms.
The album is a definite hit, an acoustic treat for those unfamiliar with the artiste's previous music-heavy works.
A danceable Very, groovy I like it and a melancholic Love should back to back to back is the USP of the album.
As also a hummable Spiders. The album wraps on a lilting instrumental note Homeward angel. Go for it.
