The buzz about "Kana Kanden", releasing this Friday, is encouraging. The censors have cleared the film with a "UA" certificate without any cuts. It is ace cinematographer K. V. Anand's directorial debut and he has blended visually appealing song sequences with great music by Vidyasagar. For its hero Srikanth, "Kana Kanden" is an important film, as he needs a hit badly. It is said that the on-screen chemistry between Srikanth and Gopika is the highlight of the film. Gopika is a natural and the way she lights up the frames in the romantic scenes is sure to make her the next big thing in Kollywood. Malayalam actor Pritviraj plays a negative character and is said to be the scene-stealer. Says K. V. Anand: "It is a breezy, romantic entertainer with a logical story."
