Golf gets a boost

winners all Proud achievers at the summer camp

The summer camp is over. Young kids with a potential to go a long way in the sport were spotted after G.S. Krishnan, chief instructor at the Golconda Golf Course completed the camp. But, so as not to give a break, this qualified instructor has decided to continue intensive training for 14 short listed young golfers and another 12 others also, to groom talent.

"There is tremendous response this time. We are putting in efforts to sustain the interest in the sport and to mould genuine talent into performing individuals," he says. With the corporate houses and the film stars lining up to learn the basics of the sport, things look bright. And, with Fusion Technology and ICRISAT chipping in with incentives, the interest of the participants was enhanced.

That's good news for golf and it's lovers!
