Spine-chilling!

Urmila Matondkar is hoping to make a comeback with her new release "Naina", this Friday. This supernatural thriller is directed by Shripal Manakhia and has been extensively shot in London. "Naina" has a world premiere at the Cannes Festival for the market section. It is inspired by "Jian gui" ("The Eye"), a Japanese film, and tells the story of Naina, a five-year-old girl, who loses her eyesight in a freak accident. Twenty years later, she undergoes corneal transplant and gets back vision. But she gets more than what she had bargained for, as she can even see ghosts! And some of these ghosts are downright unfriendly. So she embarks on a journey to explore the origin of her cornea, thereby the history of its previous owner. The background score is by Salim Sulaiman, now an expert in creating eerie music.
