Villainy pays

A new `bad man' has emerged in Tamil cinema. Pritviraj, the young hero of Malayalam cinema, is receiving appreciation from all quarters for his role as a villain in K. V. Anand's "Kana Kandein".

He steals the scene as Madan, a suave businessman who does not even smoke on screen but turns out to be a man with malevolent motives. It is a role that has been turned down by many actors.

Says Pritvi: "I owe it all to Anand sir's script and his confidence in me." Now, producers are eager to sign on the new villain.
