NEW HIGH There is free individual in-flight entertainment
Kingfisher Airlines, the private domestic airline has announced a special promotional fare of Rs. 2,999 for a one-way ticket on the Mumbai-Bangalore sector. Titled the Fun Time Fare, it will be valid for a limited period.
Kingfisher Airlines will also commence flights on the New Delhi-Bangalore sector from June 9 and for the month of June, a special inaugural one-way fare of Rs. 4,999 will be offered.
Kingfisher Airlines currently operates only on the metro routes and offers a "double daily" service from Mumbai to Bangalore, in both directions. A third daily flight on the Mumbai-Bangalore sector will start from May 20.
The second Airbus A320 aircraft of Kingfisher Airlines will be pressed into service from June 9 and the airline will offer a "triple daily" service on the New Delhi-Bangalore sector from June 9.
Kingfisher Airlines is said to be the first to offer tele-check-in facility for all, free individual in-flight entertainment on every seat through FUN TV (five video channels) and Kingfisher Radio (ten audio channels), a moving map, free headsets, extra-wide seats, spacious leg room, large overhead storage, adjustable headrest wings, free meals, designer interiors, free amenity kits for all guests, and the `good times', at no extra cost.
