Sleuth to be staged in city

The ACTor Company Theatre is launching its next production, Sleuth, Anthony Shaffer's dark comedy that won him the Tony award.

Dorected by Pawan, the play will be staged 18 times in six days. The show timings are 11 a.m., 3.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. The set for the play will try to recreate the atmosphere at Broadway and Westend.

Sleuth is one of most popular thrillers ever written. It opened at Westend and did about 2,300 shows, besides doing around 2,000 shows at Broadway. It was revived at Broadway in April 2005 by Falcon Theatre. It was made into a Hollywood movie in the 1970s, starring Michael Caine and Lawrence Olivier.
