Asin, the toast of the Tamil film industry now, has bagged film offers under top banners opposite heroes such as Vijay ("Sivakasi"), Vikram ("Majaa"), Ajit ("Godfather") and Surya ("Ghajini"). She has no call sheets to spare till next year. Says Asin: "I always consider whether I would be able to do justice to my role, then the banner and the star who is to feature opposite me before I commit myself to a project." So far her decisions have paid off. Her debut release "M. Kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi" was a super hit followed by last week's "Ullam Ketkume" (her first film officially), which is also turning out to be a hit. And as far as doing glamour roles is concerned, Asin feels people have misinterpreted the word `glamour'. Says Asin: "Please note that glamour does not mean vulgarity."
