Draw and win

It's time to let your imagination run wild. Channel [V], in association with EMI Music, has a launched a contest called Draw the Gorillaz where you just log onto www.vindia.com and post your creation of the Gorillaz in any scene imaginable. It can be Gorillaz playing cricket, protesting against a loony politician or anything that comes to your mind. To participate, save your image in JPEG format and email it to gorillaz@vindia.com along with your name, age and contact details. One lucky winner will get his/her artwork featured in the Gorillaz forthcoming album — Demon Days. There are also T-shirts and other exciting goodies to be won. You can also log onto vindia.com to access cool downloads such as games, icons and wallpapers.

The Gorillaz debut album Gorillaz (2001) sold 6 million copies worldwide. Demon Days was recorded at the band's own Kong Studios. The album is a darker and more intense affair than their first album. Gorillaz reputation for excellence and enthusiasm has secured them a stellar guest list. Featured on the album are contributions from De La Soul, Neneh Cherry, Martina Topley-Bird, Roots Manuva, MF Doom, Ike Turner, Bootie Brown of the Pharcyde, Shaun Ryder, Dennis Hopper, the London Community Gospel Choir and the San Fernandez Youth Chorus.
