Contest for school kids
Students from over 7,500 schools will come together for `Gateway 2005', a national-level inter school cultural and literary meet organised by the Elite Circle, which will be held at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex on June 25.
Students belonging to Matriculation, Anglo-Indian, CBSE, ISCE and State Board streams as well as those studying in government schools and institutions for the physically challenged can participate in the meet.
`Gateway 2005' will include competitions in drawing, essay and caption writing, besides a talent hunt and group dance competition and is open for students from LKG to Class XII.
The winners take home attractive prizes worth Rs. 3,00,000. Students from across the country, including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan, are expected to come together for the event.
The meet, touted as one of the biggest gatherings of students, is seeking to gain entry into the Limca Book of National Records. For details, contact: 0422-5577077.
