Vinay Varma's theatre group Sutradhar is putting up a play this Saturday while students of Vaishali Bisht's theatre workshop staged plays last week. Supriya Karunakaran's Sparsh staged a play on the First War of Independence, Roti Rebellion. And now Moin Ali Baig, son of the doyen of Hindustani theatre Qadir Ali Baig, has returned (he was abroad) with Jadd-O-Jehad a 60-minute solo performance. Moin, who stunned the city with his Caligula - again a solo performance with multi-media projections - describes the play as "a flower of life - for life and by life.
