Dream debut

Sandhya had a dream debut with "Kathal", one of the biggest grossers of last year. She is the youngest heroine in Tamil cinema and is on cloud nine after signing up for three new films. She plays the female lead opposite Simbu in "Vallavan" and opposite Jeeva in "Dishum" and has three other films with Dhanush, Bharath and Arya in the pipeline. Says Sandhya: "I was lucky to get a performance-oriented role in `Kathal' and now all offers that are coming my way are meaty and not the glamorous six scenes and three songs variety." However, Sandhya adds that she is not against glamour and that she can carry off even glamorous clothes with dignity.
