ON A RIDE: The launch of Firefox bikes in Gurgaon

John F. Kennedy once said, "Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride."

This is what Firefox seeks to bring to your doorstep. Firefox bikes are superbikes designed in the U.K. and manufactured in the Far East with the aim to revolutionise the biking scenario.

Recently "Trail Blazer," a biking extravaganza organised by the company at Gurgaon's MGF Mall offered an opportunity to sports and fitness freaks to enjoy the biking experience on the Firefox bikes. Famous radio jockey Shamshir Rai Luthra and prominent citizens were seen enjoying the ride. The entire range of Firefox bikes - from kids bikes to BMX, all-terrain/mountain and road bikes were showcased. Firefox uses lightweight alloy body and hi-tech shimano gears. The company offers more than 30 models. The company also offers a range of biking accessories like biking gears, helmets, bags, water bottles and even bike carriers for cars.Speaking on the occasion, Hemant Dewan, Manager-Marketing, Firefox Bikes Private Limited remarked, "City life is becoming more and more stressful leading to lifestyle diseases quite early in life. Hence it is absolutely necessary to incorporate outdoor activities in our routine that will unwind us and provide the much needed physical exercise. We offer an option of fun, fitness and adventure to today's youth. Its healthy and environment friendly."
