After Singapore and Malaysia, it is the turn of Hong Kong to hold a shopping festival. The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is organising the Hong Kong Shopping Festival - 2005 that is on till August 31. The organisers are hoping that tourist inflow will increase from 4.4 million last year to 4.63 million this year.
During the festival period, visitors can buy variety products from different parts of the world. At the same time, participating manufacturers will showcase the best of Hong Kong to global visitors.
The festival has four shopping themes — Fashion and Beauty, Jewellery and Watches, Consumer Electronics and Chinese Traditions. Substantial discounts are being offered.
