American country flavours

CAJUN AND CREOLE CUISINE At a food fest at Seasons Cafe

If you're keen on tasting some American flavours, then you could do so at Seasons Café, the coffee shop at Traders Hotel, 35-36-37, G. N. Chetty Road, T. Nagar. The best of traditional Cajun and Creole cuisine comes to life at the restaurant, where a food fest, "Jambalaya", is on till July 31. The gourmet journey will take you through the many parts of Louisiana, right from the terrace lands of Baton Rouge and Lafayette through the pine hill woodlands of Ouachita and Monroe.

The restaurant's Executive Sous Chef Hariharan has come up with a wide spread on the dinner buffet — chicken and okra gumbo Creole, Louisiana prawn cocktail, lamb and cilantro escabeche. Last but not the least, you can complete your meal with desserts such as Mississippi apple cake and tunsil almond and orange gateaux.

What's more, there will be Cajun Cowboys' music to let your spirits soar.
