When country meets reggae

Melancholic scores and hard-core rap are the flavours of the season

After a hiatus of 10 years and sell-out albums like It Always Will Be, Willie Nelson returns, this time with a mix of reggae, gospel and country.

Find here Nelson's patented Texas glide along with cheerful Jamaican rhythms. The album was conceived by Don Was and Chris Blackwell way back in 1995, originally intended for release on Blackwell's Island Records. Nevertheless, the album promises to be a treat for Nelson fans.

Here We Go Again: DMX/Universal

Composer, actor, producer and memorable MC of all time — Earl Simmons a.k.a Dark Man X (DMX for short) has sold over 10 million albums till date.

If his first four albums entered music charts at No.1, the DMX heavy OST for Cradle 2 the Grave and No Sunshine for the Steven Segal action flick Exit Wounds debuted on top-ten as the films opened at number one. The artist is back with his sixth album. Already the lead single Give 'em what they want is ruling the charts. Lend an ear.

Six Feet Under: Everything Ends - Vol 2: Various/EMI

Following its premier in 2001, the show, known for its dark situational humour as it unfolds the saga of the Fisher family, who run a funeral home and copes with its own tragedy, has garnered a number of prestigious awards, including a Golden Globe for Best Television Series Drama, an Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series and more.

All through, music has been an integral part of the show much like the script and cast. Astralwerk's second volume of soundtrack music from the hit HBO series also features tracks created for the coming fifth and final season.

Featuring some of music's hottest acts, including Caesars, The Arcade Fire and Interpol, as well as a new track from JEM.

After a string of sold-out concerts in Southern California and Los Angeles, the multicultural band comprising Adam Cohen, the singer-songwriter who already has a solo deal as a French language artiste to his credit, guitarist Michael Chaves who works on the side with John Mayer and the Swedish duo - bassist Jorgen Carlsson and drummer Eric Eldeniusm, makes its debut this season.

With Adam Cohen acting as producer and Pat Leonard (Madonna), David Kahne (Sugar Ray, Matthew Sweet, Sublime), and Keith Forsey (Billy Idol, Donna Summer) assisting on the cover, this album is one to watch out for.
