Several designers will showcase their creations at Fashion World 2005
|
The Junior Agarwal Mahila Mandal is back this year with its annual fund-raiser, Fashion World 2005. The event will take place on August 3 and 4 at Hotel Taj Coromandel between 10 a.m. and 8.30 p.m.
Over 45 designers from across the country will showcase their creations at Fashion World 2005. The exhibition will feature saris, salwars, kurtis, Indo-westerns, jewellery and accessories.
Saroj Daga from Kolkata will display her adaa creation — saris and salwars embellished with intricate embroidery. Alak Sharaff from Kolkata will present gem and pearl jewellery. While Mona from Delhi brings her Lucknowis and Chikankaris, Pummy Walia from Mumbai will showcase salwars where the highlights are heavy embroidery and zardosi. Besides, up and coming designers will present Indo-westerns and kurtis. The Junior Agarwal Mahila Mandal functions under the patronage of Shree Agarwal Sabha at 27, Audiappa Naicken Street, Chennai 79.
