To cover about 500 metres it takes more than 30 minutes, particularly on Kodambakkam Bridge and also at Duraiswamy subway, which leads to Vadapalani, K.K.Nagar, Virugambakkam, Valasarawalkam, Porur and Poonamallee. We need to start making good use of Mambalam High Road, which leads to all these places, and remove the encroachments on the road. This road will be an alternative to North Usman Road, connecting Duraiswamy Road and Mahalingapuram Road. We can therefore avoid Panagal Park and traffic jam will be remarkably reduced.
