Seminar on future of Indian Poetry

The Chennai Poets' Circle, a forum devoted to the promotion of creative writing in English poetry, is holding its second national seminar on "The Future of Indian Poetry in English", on September 18, from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30. p.m., at the Madras Kerala Samaj, 903, Poonamallee High Road, Chennai-84.

K. Chellappan, former director, State Institute of English, Chennai, will preside over the inaugural session, which will be followed by paper presentations. Winners from various poetry contests will also be invited to read out their works.
