CONTEMPORARY STYLES There's plenty to choose from at Drapes Avenue

Drapes Avenue, a contemporary lifestyle store, has undergone a facelift. The store, which started in 1991 as a conservative furnishing outlet, is today transformed into a lifestyle destination.

The store, on Lady Curzon Road, Near Bowring Hospital, offers a shopping area of 4,000 sq. ft with ample parking space. "We also provide in-house designer consultant services to our customers on ideas of colour combinations," explains Vinod Goenka, proprietor.

The store offers upholstery, curtains, towels, carpets, home linen and cushion covers. Drapes Avenue specialises in material used for modular workstations and office chairs, adds Mr. Goenka who runs the store along with his wife.

There are fabric such as cottons, polyester, viscose, silk and jute along with a wide array of blended material. The fabric is sourced from Maharashtra, Gujarat while handlooms are brought in from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi.

The fabric is priced from Rs. 85 to Rs. 1,200 per metre.

The new additions to the store are tussar and taffetta with embroidery. Drapes Avenue can be contacted on 25592253.
