Onam biggies

Today is Onam, the major festival for Malayalees. From half a dozen films that used to release every year during this season, the number has come down to four this year. However, this season's two biggies are Mohanlal's "Naran" and Mammootty's "Nerariyan CBI". It is normally the only time of the year when superstar films clash but today they have an understanding that their films will not release on the same day. This is because they lose out on the all-important opening weekend collections as the audience gets divided. The Onam season was kick-started with Dileep's "Chanthupottu" followed by Mohanlal's "Naran" and Mammootty's "Nerariyan CBI". Kalabhavan Mani's "Lokanathan IAS" is scheduled for release today.
