New action hero

The latest from Ramgopal Varma's film factory is "James" with the tagline — "In a world of villains we need a hero". Ramu says: "`James' is an urban, contemporary masala action film with a lot of glamour." The film is directed by Rohit Jugraj, one of Ramu's assistants, and features Mohit Ahlawat and Nisha Kothari. Adds Varma: "Mohit is a tall handsome hunk who is sure to rock Bollywood as an action hero." Meanwhile, Ramu's latest muse Nisha Kothari, who was also seen in "Sarkar", is well known to Tamil audience as Amoga, the coy, sari-clad heroine in Saran's "Jay Jay". In "James", she is determined to woo the audience with a different look

Sreedhar Pillai.
