Cross-cultural flavour

British Council, Max Mueller Bhavan and Alliance Francaise, the three European cultural bodies represented in Chennai, present "The Spice of Life — An EU India Experience", a series of short films to mark the EU-India summit that will take place in Delhi during the month.

This series of eight documentaries were produced under the European Union Fellowship in partnership with the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association, The Thomson Media Foundation (UK), University of Tampere (Finland), Indian Institute of Mass Communication and India Media Management Group for Literacy and Development. Each film was directed by a young Indian filmmaker in partnership with a European counterpart. The films explore issues from a European and Indian perspective. The films will be screened on September 17, 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. at Top Storey at Alliance Francaise. Limited passes are available at British Council, Max Mueller Bhavan and Alliance Francaise.
