Dance to the tune from the strings

Peter finger and Konark Reddy is here to rock the city

GUITARIST Peter Finger and Konark Reddy

This metro is in for some real heady mix of rock, blues and jazz music this Saturday. Peter Finger, guitor virtuoso from Germany and his friend, Bangalore-based Konarak Reddy, who is a pioneer of fusion jazz music, would be performing at a concert at The Park.

The duo is being brought by Bangalore-based charity organisation, ACTS, in association with The Park Hotels.

Following the resounding success of the Engelbert Humperdinck tri-city tour of India in June last, ACTS is bringing Peter Finger, popular across the globe for his classical, jazz, blues and rock music. The duo is on a tri-city tour and would be performing at Bangalore and Chennai on September 22 and 24 respectively.

He also publishes a music magazine, 'Akustik Gitarre', and has initiated a guitar festival that is held annually at Osnabrucke. His music is a perfect balance of intellect and emotion and has always been a sensual experience for his audience. It is elegant, imaginative and inspiring. He has held several shows in countries like the US, Canada, the UK, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Finland, Poland, Estonia, Russia and Japan.

Konarak Reddy
