Another remake

This weekend promises to be exciting for Tamil filmgoers, as two films — "Ghajini" and "Mazhai" — packed with action and romance and starring hot and happening actors Surya and Jayam Ravi are releasing simultaneously. Ravi who has given three hits in a row will now be seen in "Mazhai", which is also a remake of a super hit Telugu movie. The film, which marks Raajkumar's directorial debut, is produced by veteran singer S. P. Balasubramaniam and his son SPB Charan. Shriya, a successful Telugu actress, is making her debut in Tamil. The story revolves around her. However, it is Ravi's image as an action hero, which is expected to do the magic. Top model Rahul Dev plays the villain. Says Charan: "I am confident about the film which has shaped out well. The lilting music of Devi Sri Prasad and the beautiful locations of Warangal are the other highlights of this mass entertainer."
