Short film and photography contest
Ashvita Art Object and Artifacts is organising a series of contests, lectures and film screenings from October 18 to 25 to celebrate its third anniversary.
Part of the festival is a photography and short film contest. The theme for the photography competition is `Tomorrow' while the short film can be based on any work of fiction.
The last date for submission of entries is October 20.
For the photography competition, each participant should submit not more than three separate images in black and white or colour. The prints must be of 8 x 12 inches. Digital photographs will not be accepted. Short films must be in DVD or VCD format and of less than 15 minutes duration. Each participant can submit only one film, which may be an individual or a group effort. Subtitles must be provided for movies in languages other than English or Tamil. The award function will be held at Ashvita (11, Second Street, Radhakrishnan Salai) on October 23. Visit www.ashvita.com for entry forms.
