Thriller

Internationally acclaimed cameraman and filmmaker Santhosh Sivan has directed his first film in Malayalam "Ananthabhadram", releasing this Deepavali. It is a psychological thriller adapted from Sunil Parameswaran's novel. Says Sivan: "It is not in the horror genre and is all about transmigration linked to a mythological story rooted in Kerala culture and tradition." The film has Pritviraj, Manoj K.Jayan, Kalabhavan Mani, Kavya Madhavan and the Bengali beauty, Riya Sen, in a pivotal role. The songs of "Ananthabhadram" are chartbusters and are shot brilliantly by Sivan. In one of the songs, he has paid tribute to Ravi Varma by using his painting as a motif.
