Hunt for locales!

Commercial filmmakers are always in search of exotic locales to shoot song and dance numbers. Last month, director Hari, along with lead pair Surya and Trisha canned a song for "Aaru" at Petra in Jordan. Said Hari: "Petra, south of Amman, is an exotic desert surrounded by towering rose-coloured sandstone hills, ruins of ancient temples and tombs. We were the first south Indian crew to shoot a song in Petra and the visuals look stunning on screen." He also added that the place had become a major tourist destination ever since Steven Spielberg shot "Indiana Jones — The Last Crusade" there!
