All-new morning show

Many viewers are addicted to the daily morning shows. The channels try to package these shows with spiritual discourses, lifestyle, astrology, health, beauty tips and interviews with celebrities. On Tamil channels, personalities from Kollywood hog the limelight. Entertainment is the key word so much so some channels even show film clippings on morning shows! One such show is "Hello Tamizha" (Vijay TV, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m.-9 a.m.), hosted by the chirpy Mamati Chari. Now, the channel has revamped the programme with one more anchor, Vijayalakshmi. The new additional segments include "30 Nallil Killadi" -- 30 steps to easy living, "60 seconds to fame" - an opportunity for the viewer to showcase his/her talent, cinema news and clippings and astrological predictions by Sivalapuri Singarem. Recently, an entire show was devoted to promoting Vikram's Deepavali release "Majaa" with songs, clippings and interviews with cast and crew.
