Handcrafted stationery
Gypsy Soul and Desi are conducting an exhibition and sale of handcrafted stationery. All the items exhibited are made from 100 per cent recycled wood and acid-free handmade paper.
Some of the items on offer include rolls of textured paper for gift wrapping, lampshades, files, folders, gift boxes, scrap books, journals, memo pads, tags, photo frames, visiting cards, greeting cards and so on. The exhibition also features various forms of tribal art like Warli from Maharashtra, Madhubani from Bihar, Anar Chitrakar scroll paintings from Orissa and miniature paintings on acrylic and oil on canvas by contemporary artists from Karnataka.
All of the products are done on different kinds of paper, from textured, plain and mottled to silk lined, surface coated and metallic coated paper.
The motifs featured are from Indian tribal art, with designs such as flowers, elephants, birds and so on.
