Braille Christmas Tree
This year all ITC Welcomhotels showcase a Braille Christmas Tree - symbolic to spreading light and joy to all this festive season. Designed on Braille paper, The Tree of Light is inspired by the shadow of puppets of Andhra Pradesh, leather cut outs of mythological figures brought alive by the light that filters through outlines punctured with sharp tools - tools like the one blinded the four-year-old Louis Braille and years later inspired him to create the Braille alphabet. The gift boxes under the tree are wrapped in Braille paper decorated with leaves of mango and peepal trees.
Kids Special
Uppal's Orchid, an Ecotel hotel, and Meridien offer Christmas carnival especially for the kids. While at the Uppal's Orchid will have plenty of things for kids such as Santa Claus, Kid's DJ, dance floor, bouncy, magician, treasure hunt, and of course cakes, candies, cookies, etc., Meridien offers a special kids' lunch on the Christmas eve. One can watch them have a blast as they enjoy the dances, games and rides.
Christmas Specials
To celebrate Christmas and New Year hotels across the city have planned special Christmas-eve and Christmas festivities. While Hyatt is promising a truly gastronomic celebration that includes La Piazza's Christmas eve dinner (7 p.m. to 11.30 p.m.), Christmas day brunch (12 noon to 3.30 p.m.) and New Year's eve dinner (7 p.m. to 11.30 p.m.), at the Radisson Hotel at National Highway 8 Carol singers will be performing in all its restaurants and its Pastry Shop will feature Christmas goodies till December 30. Besides a ginger bread house will lend authenticity to the dιcor. Ye Old Bakery at the Claridges will create the choicest and most unusual gift hampers which will include among other goodies, a box of liquor chocolates, a bottle of wine, traditional cheese and much more. The Blooms at the Intercontinental, Nehru Place, will offer a festive Christmas buffet. At the Radisson MBD Hotel Noida which has just launched "The Chocolate Box", a designer pastry shop, it is time to pick up Christmas goodies, Xmas pudding and Yule log cake, etc. Intercontinental, The Grand has an exciting range of Christmas goodies at the Pastry Shop and traditional Christmas meals at its restaurants. Piccadelhi at the Plaza Cinema building is pulling out all the stops for the Christmas season. The highlights here include Carolling group, face painters, tattoo artistes, roast turkey with Giblet gravy, Yorkshire pudding, Plum cakes, Mince pies and more. One can enjoy a special Christmas lunch at Hotel Park Plaza this Christmas at its sky Lounge. A huge spread of mouth-watering specialities await the guests here. One can also walk into Tonino, the Italian speciality restaurantat 10, MG Road and enjoy the Christmas eve at its exotic terrace for a lavishly prepared menu, with a live band playing jazz to elevate the spirit. There is a traditional Christmas buffet on the Christmas day and the menu offers the tastes of exotic dishes like Roasted stuffed turkey with giblet gravy, Christmas pudding with orange brandy sauce besides a variety or appetisers, bread displays salads, live pasta and pizza stations. Another option is to celebrate Christmas and New Year at the Village Bistro and enjoy the Christmas brunch at its roof top restaurant aptly named `Terrace in the Sky'. The restaurants at ITC's Maurya Sheraton, are all fully geared for this Christmas. One can enjoy Christmas eve dinner and Christmas lunch at West View, The Pavilion, Dumpukht, Bukhara and Dublin. There will be a grand Christmas carnival at City Heart Bakery in Gurgaon. It will showcase a range of pineapple, black forest, chocolate, strawberry, wedding and party cakes till December 25.
Santa House
Christmas is here and Santa Claus has come around once more with a bagful of wishes and gifts. Cookie Man is re-creating the magic of North Pole complete with snow, a Christmas tree and a whole lot of other goodies in its Santa House in Noida, giving the kids one more reason to celebrate. The specially designed Santa House will be at Centre Stage Mall Noida till December 27. On every purchase of Rs.300 and above, one can get a framed picture taken with Santa himself for free.
Christmas At Gaylords
Gaylords offers bags full of goodies to make this Christmas very special for its customers. Created specially for this Christmas, Gaylords has Ginger bread house, White Christmas cake, Yulog cake, Christmas cookies, Christmas pudding, Chocolates, Cinnamon roles and Banana and Carrot cakes.
