Ring in the New Year with food and fun

If you want to herald the New Year with sumptuous food, games and dance, troop into the VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science grounds, Kovaipudur on December 31st.
The Department of Hotel Management and Catering Science is organising its third consecutive New Year celebrations `Hip-Hog 2006'.
Over 35 varieties of food items ranging from soups and salads to fish and chicken will be available at the bash. Indian breads, rice, sweets and pickles will also adorn the menu.
Food will be followed by dance, games and fireworks.
If you are one of those health conscious kinds, you will find the presentation on heath and healthy eating habits informative.
The event will also be an exposure to catering students in organising such events.
