Two-day seminar on Koodiyattom

A two-day (January 14 and 15) international seminar on `Koodiyattom and Asian Theatre Traditions' brings together the artiste and the researcher to share their ideas and experiences. "The seminar is funded by the UNESCO-Japan-Funds-In-Trust and the Ministry of Culture. Margi as the national implementing agency plays a major role in the preservation and dissemination of Koodiyattom," says P. Venugopalan of Margi.

Farley Richmond will deliver the keynote address on `Koodiyattom and Asian Theatre Traditions.'

His contribution to Koodiyattom literature is substantial. Farley is considered the first foreign scholar to delve into the Sanskrit theatre tradition.
