`Finding Nemo'

A film `Finding Nemo' was screened for Naval children by the Prakriti group of Naval Wives Welfare Association (NWWA) at Samudrika auditorium (near Naval Base) recently.

The show started with a brief presentation on how the movie conveyed a message `Save our oceans and marine life' and the values that children can learn from the movie.

A note on coral reefs was distributed amongst the children explaining the threat human beings pose to coral reefs and what we can do to protect them. The prakriti group aims to create awareness on protecting and nurturing our environment. It conducts a number of activities such as painting, elocution, essay writing, visits to the zoo and lectures on prevention of pollution among Naval children.
