Tishnagi
Shaan/EMI
Shaan returns after a two-year hiatus with a brand new album. Shaan has grown as an artist one finds composing six tracks and writing all the songs for the album. "The element that sets this album different from the rest is that we have used live instruments played by the maestro himself Ranjit Barot. We have also got musicians from Belgium to play on the album. Tishangi is completely original, no lifts at all - a rarity in pop / film albums! This album is way more vibrant and upbeat than my previous work - Aksar. This is my best work so far," says Shaan. Another highlight is a Hindi duet addition to MLTR's Take me to your heart.
Various/Warner
This one is really for the old times' sake. Find here songs from Phil Collins, from his Genesis days. And also that honey drenched number from John Lennon, tad different from his Beatles' work. And Tina Turner coming back strong overcoming her personal crisis. The rare compilation of heart-warming songs alsp features Mr Mister, Jon Secada and Bonnie Raitt. If ballads is your kind of music, this twin CD pack is sure manna on ears.
