On a highway

Tata Motors has reported a total sale of 35, 598 vehicles (including exports) for the month of December, 2005 registering a growth of 11.4 percent over the vehicles sold in December 2004.

The cumulative sales of the company have shown a growth of 9.7 percent last year. In the passenger vehicles, Tata Indica has shown the maximum growth.

Its sale has gone up by 40 percent during 2005 followed by Indigo and Sumo and Safari.
