My kind of place

What a dilemma!
It's difficult for me single out one because I love the ocean and mountains, which give me a wide choice for a holiday.
But if you insist, I would say Cape Town. If not every year, I make it a point to be in this part of South Africa at least once in two years.
Up on the hill
There are amazing mountainous areas, particularly in the north of Cape Town. I never miss going up the Table Mountain, which is huge but flat, just like a tabletop.
A cable car helps you scale the height, almost 7,000 feet. The view of the town below and the delicious food in the restaurants up there literally give you a high.
Cool and colourful
Had enough of the mountains? Head for Waterfront, a thrilling nightspot that's always buzzing with life. Here you can shop and eat to your heart's content.
Then there's the Cape of Good Hope, truly a celestial sight with the Atlantic and the Pacific together painting the place in twin colours.
A third option
A day out at the vinery would mean a close encounter with Nature. Nothing can be more relaxing and calming.
It's different
Cape Town is different from other African cities as you can get a taste of various cultures.
The weather is wonderful through the year, never too cold or hot.
