Bid small, win big

Here is a chance to win a ticket to the Indo-Pak one-day international series

REALLY LIVE If you're lucky, you needn't watch the Indo-Pak match on the telly PHOTO: REUTERS

Cricket is a national obsession and a series between India and Pakistan translates to an amazing frenzy. Tickets to cricket matches are super hard to come by. But all is set to change — at least for the select few who win the Hutch Lowest Boli Wins contest. Hutch subscribers (there is no such thing as a free lunch!) can win an all-expense-paid trip (airfare, ticket to a match, boarding and lodging for a day and night) for a one-day international between India and Pakistan to be held in Pakistan next month.

If you are a Hutch customer, you need to SMS a unique bid starting at Rs. 25, in increments of 1 paisa not exceeding Rs. 1 lakh. The lowest bids will then be chosen by ensuring that there are no other bids at the same price point. The application has a real time response that will validate the bid. As soon as the customer sends his bid, he gets back a message depending on the bid value. He/ she will also receive an alert when he is outbid.

The first 30 winners will be announced during the contest the remaining 50 will be announced on conclusion of the contest on January 25. The winner will need to pay Hutch the winning bid price for the amount at which they have won the contest to claim the prize. So get cracking!
