Hitchcock retrospective

If one remembers the good old Doordarshan days, a once-in-a-while English movie, specially Hitchcock's, would be widely awaited. The `master of suspense', famous for his thrillers, blonde leading ladies and his habit of appearing in his own movies, constructed screen dramas that blend light comedy and dark horror in a unique manner.

All his fans in Hyderabad can now treat themselves to his Retrospective organised by the Hyderabad Film Club at Sri Sarathi Studios Preview Theatre, Ameerpet. The seven-film feast will begin on January 16 at 6.00 p.m.

The films scheduled to be screened are:

39 Steps, Rope, Rear Window, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Vertigo, Psycho and The Birds.
