Navya on a roll

Award-winning actress Navya Nair, one of the leading ladies in Malayalam cinema, is getting recognition as an actress of substance in Tamil. Her debut film "Azhagiya Theeye" was followed by "Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy", which got her rave reviews. Now she has completed three films and the first is "Pasakilikal" followed by the Kannan-directed "Amirtham". She has an author-backed role in award-winning director T. V. Chandran's "Aadum Koothu" which is being premiered at major film festivals. Now she is Cheran's heroine in his next film, which will start rolling from January 20.
