For those who are tired of the repeat menu in different restaurants in Delhi, Gaourmet Gallery promises a change with a new menu introduced this New Year.
The menu has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare. The vegetarian menu contains dishes likeveg stuffed mushrooms, while for non-vegetarians there is a range of grilled dishes like fish steak , rosemary and lemon grilled chicken that includes marinated grilled vegetables, onion and mustard mushroom, peppercorn demi glace, chicken drumsticks, barbeque sauce, grill prawn, pork chops and so on. All the grilled foods are topped with grilled tomatoes, sautéed, vegetables and potato wafers.
Other than the grill menu, the new drinks menu has some exciting names like, Morrison's Punch, Recharge Rock, Love in Hard Rock, Gourmet Special, etc.
Affordable drinks
The drinks will be available on all floors with the standard price of Rs.99.Gourmet Gallery has three floors namely, Tasveer for traditional Indian food, Café Morrison Hard Rock that serves Mexican food and Whispering Bamboo for oriental food.
Informs Dimple Kohli, Business Head, Gourmet Gallery, "We serve cuisine from various parts of the world under the same roof, on different floors though. We have special cuisine for an eight-year-old to eighty-year-old." Take for instance, the Mexican menu, which has introduced some new dishes like verengane rosita in the main course. It is made of egg frittered with a tangy salsa ranchero served with white rice, apple pie and G.G. special (a-three-flavoured ice cream served with fruit cocktail and Mexican dessert. Whispering Bamboo has new additions like devil prawns and Szechwan fish filter (butter fried fish tossed in chilli sauce) in starters; chicken drumsticks in poultry and steamed pomfret and staining pomfret in the main course.
Those who are fond of soups must try the new Tom Kha (veg/non-veg) soup with mushroom, coconut milk, lemongrass and galanda.
If you want to set your taste buds on fire, then try the Thailand dishes available at Whispering Bamboo. Ithas latest additions like por pia chae/kai-kai yod sai, massaman curry and phed kra pro tha not.
Indian food lovers can try pahari kabab, Peshwari burrah kabab, dum ka murgh, methi murgh, handi murgh, macchi Bangali akhari, paneer pasanda, and makki palak available at Tasveer.
