He is 21, the grandson of late Anand Bakshi and the director of the film "Aashiq Banaya Aapne." Aditya Dutt will be back in 2006 with "Dil Diya Hai" . The movie will star Emraan Hashmi and Ashmit Patel along with a new girl. Aditya claims that this is not just another love story. Aditya, who shares a good rapport with Emraan, has worked under Mahesh Bhatt and Vikram Bhatt as an assistant director. He has also assisted Tanuja Chandra in "Sur" and four Punjabi tele-films.

He says, he did not have much expectations from "Aashiq Banaya Aapne" as it had a new star cast, a new banner and a new director. "However, the best thing is we did not suffer any monetary loss."

Aditya is happy that people's perception of him has changed after the movie. "They now take me as a serious director. I have learnt a lot from the mistakes that I committed in my last movie. And this year I resolve not to repeat them."

At 21 what else does he want? He does not regret being a college-dropout. "I am learning it all in the industry." Like any other youngster, videogames and clubbing interests him.
