Man's world

After eight years, AXN better known in Tamil Nadu as Action channel, which telecasts action movies and adventure sports, is making a lifestyle programme for the Indian male. According Rohit Bhandari, director sales and marketing, AXN: "For the first time in India, there will be a programme exclusively for men, made and presented by men." Titled "Man's World", the programme will talk about everything a man wants to know. The show is being anchored by Ash Chandler and Vrajesh Hirjee. "Man's World" will also have quirky characters such as Benny (a 30-year-old virgin), who cannot find a date. Chandler and Hirjee teach him the art of seduction! Then there is Tara, a bartender who gives the woman's viewpoint. There is also an in-house sex consultant - Dr Love! AXN is targeting the upwardly mobile male viewers for this programme to be telecast every Wednesday from January 18 at 10.30 p.m.
