On emerging opportunities in healthcare on January 30 and 31

India's healthcare industry is growing at about 13 per cent annually and is expected to grow at 15 per cent over the next four to five years. Healthcare spending is estimated to double over the next 10 years with private healthcare forming a large chunk of the spending. The National Health Policy announced by the Government also envisages increasing public health investment from 0.9 per cent to 2 per cent of GDP by 2010 and the total health investment from 5 per cent to 6 per cent.
In this context, ITCOT Consultancy and Services (50-A, Greams Road) is organising a two-day seminar on "Emerging Opportunities in Healthcare Sector" from 9.30 a.m. to 5. 30 p.m. on January 30 and 31 at Hotel GRT Grand, Sir Thyagaraya Road, T. Nagar.
The seminar will attempt to give a broad perspective, highlighting the recent developments and future advancements in the burgeoning healthcare industry and explore the changing face of healthcare system.
The target audience includes doctors, deans and administrators of hospitals and medical institutions, NGOs and Public Health Officers, R & D experts and members of the medical fraternity.
