Exhibition of portraits, paintings

Alliance Française de Trivandrum in collaboration with the Embassy of France in India is organising an exhibition of life-sized portraits titled `People' by the French artist Elzévir from January 31 to February 8 at Alliance Française de Trivandrum and Museum auditorium. `People' is an exhibition of different series of paintings. Elzévir's works titled `The Indians' and `The Hybrids' will be exhibited at the museum auditorium and his works `Culture,' `The Most Beautiful Day' and `On the Beach' will be on view at the exhibition hall of Alliance Française de Trivandrum.

In the series Hybrids, he has painted faces taken from known works belonging to European art history.
