Try your hand at some eggless recipes



DELECTABLE Eggless cakes

Not all can sink their teeth into scrumptious look desserts owing to health or religious beliefs. Take heart, you can still treat yourself to that delectable dessert that you have denied yourself for so long.

Here are some easy-to-make delicious recipes of cakes and desserts sans eggs.

Eggless cake

Ingredients

Maida - 1 glass
Powdered sugar - 2 glass
Refined oil - half a glass
Milk - half a glass
Vanilla essence- a few drops
Baking soda - one fourth tsp
Butter - 4 tbsp
Orange-1

Method

Sieve maida with baking powder and baking soda at least three times. Take the juice of orange and keep aside. Mix oil, sugar and butter. Beat till it becomes fluffy and light. Add maida and juice alternately to this mixture. Add milk gradually. When the mixture is ready, pour it into a greased baking dish and bake till done.

Eggless brownies

Ingredients

Maida - 3 cup
Vanilla essence -1 tsp
Sugar - 2 cup
Baking powder - 2 tsp
Baking soda -1 tsp
Cocoa powder - 2 tbsp
Vinegar - 2 tbsp
Cold water - 2 cup
Oil - three fourth cup

Method

Mix maida with baking powder, soda, cocoa and sugar. Mix oil, vanilla, vinegar and cold water. Add the wet ingredients mix well. Bake till done.

Eggless Chocolate

Pudding

Ingredients

Maida - 1 cup
Powdered sugar - three fourth cup
Baking powder - half tsp
Milk - half cup
Cocoa - 2 tbsp
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Chopped walnuts -1 tsp

Method

Mix butter and sugar well. Add rest of the ingredients. Mix well and pour into an ovenproof dish.

Sprinkle nuts and bake till well done.
