Merger of three fine art forms

We can't catch the world; a show that is touring the country, will come to Hyderabad on Monday, January 30. The show will be presented at the Lalitha Kala Thoranam and is organised by the Department of culture and the Alliance Française with the support of the French Embassy.

There will be live performance that will combine visual arts and dance. Pierre-Alain Hubert and Karl Knapp will combine fireworks, painting and dance to highlight the Indian dance form of Bharatyanatyam.

While Karl will paint in front of the audience, Pierre-Alain will control the pyrotechniques display and Ajey Balaji and Meghna Venkat will accompany them as the dancers.

Pierre-Alain's accomplishments span more than 25 years and his pyrotechnics on the eve of the millennium at the Champs-Elysées and other Parisian landmarks was broadcast all over the world.

Karl Knapp is the founder of the group Fusion whose aim is to encourage the fusion of experimentation in arts. He has created decors in Los Angeles and around 20 musical clips for groups like the Rolling stones, Oasis and Neil Young. He has a passion for mixing theatre, dance, music, arts and poetry.

Karl and Pierre have been associated with each other for several years to combine their artistic knowledge.
