The inauguration of Iscra Musical Meet, the musical wing of Iscra, the Institute of Socio-Cultural Relevant Art, will be held at Hotel Abad, Chullikkal, Mattancherry, on February 1 at 6.30 p.m.

The monthly musical meet envisages to propagate various genres of music and also to promote young and new talent. Noted music director M. K. Arjunan will inaugurate the event.

A ghazal programme by Jitesh Sundaram, a disciple of Anup Jalota, will be held after the inauguration. A disciple of Anup Jalota, Jitesh has graced various stages throughout the world. He has had the honour of singing along with Ghulam Ali in the Friendship Concert held in Pakistan.

This Malayali singer has also sung with noted ghazal singers like Pankaj Udhas, Talat Aziz and Anuradha Paudwal. Rajendra Nakode will accompany Jitesh on the tabla.
