Trauma

I had an accident and a resultant whiplash injury. Ever since, I have pain in the neck and sometimes in the shoulders. It has been two years and painkillers still give only transient relief. - Emm

Hypericum, Arnica, Bellis perennis are a few remedies which would help your condition and give relief. A homoeopath would consider more of your symptoms to suggest an appropriate remedy.

Corn

I regularly underwent surgical dressing after an injury to the heel about six months ago. Later a hard corn developed over the site, which becomes very painful during walking. Can homoeopathy help? - Lalith.

Silicea 30C three times a day for five days would relieve the pain and gradually get rid of the corn.

Stricture

I have difficulty at the onset of urination when I have to strain. The stream is not free as it is thin. Dilatation was done on two occasions but my urologist feels if there is retention of urine it may have to be repeated. Can homoeopathy help? - abc.

Clematis is a remedy, which would help initially to relieve the stricture, but a proper follow up with a homoeopath would help in reducing the need for urethral dilatation.

Atopic Eczema

My one-year-old son has patches of dry skin on the face, folds of elbows and knees with itching and a raw surface after scratching. During his second six months, he also had frequent nasal discharge and wheeze when he was advised nebulisation too. Please suggest a remedy? - Samuel.

The skin and respiratory symptoms may alternate with each other and are termed Atopic Eczema. Sulphur, Sepia, Psorinum etc. are a few remedies which help relieve acute episodes while gradually boosting natural immunity to take over and get rid of the ailment.
