Accolade for Shobana


While on awards, actress-cum-danseuse Shobhana was also nominated for Padma Shree. She is known for her performance oriented roles and has acted with almost all the senior actors. Incidentally, she was the first actress to portray the character Chandramukhi, which was originally made in Malayalam. She had also walked away with National Award for her performance in this film.
